No Profit Uplift - No Fee

E34’s No Profit Uplift - No Fee arrangement is designed in direct response to some negative business perception around the management consulting industry and E34’s proven track record in delivering genuine business improvement.

Management consultants are sometimes criticised for overusing buzzwords, relying on and propagating management fads, and failing to develop plans that can be executed. More disreputable consulting firms are sometimes accused of delivering empty promises, despite high fees, and simply "state the obvious" or lack the experience upon which to base their advice. These consultants bring few innovations, instead offering generic and "pre-packaged" strategies and plans that are irrelevant to the client’s particular issue. They may fail to prioritise their responsibilities, placing their own firm’s interests before those of the clients.

Further criticisms include: disassembly of the business (by firing employees) in a drive to cut costs, only providing analysis reports, junior consultants charging senior rates, reselling similar reports to multiple clients as "custom work", lack of innovation, overbilling for days not worked, speed at the cost of quality, unresponsive large firms and lack of (small) client focus, lack of clarity of deliverables in contracts, and secrecy.

We believe E34 is different to many other management consultants and is willing to guarantee its work via its No Profit Uplift - No Fee arrangement.

How does the No Profit Uplift - No Fee arrangement work?

Under the No Profit Uplift - No Fee arrangement, to the extent that E34’s business improvement recommendations, or implementation actions, do not result in either:

1. An improved financial outcome such as increased revenue or cost reductions (i.e. an increase in annual profitability) of the business; or

2. A reduction in business or project risk; or

3. A reduction in the input / time of the business owner(s) to the sustainability of the business;

E34 will rebate the portion of its fee received to the extent that increased annual profits are not generated, or business owner(s) time incurred in the business does not reduce.

Is the No Profit Uplift - No Fee arrangement available in all projects?

1. Increase in the annual profitability of the business; or

2. A reduction in business or project risk; or

3. Reduced input / time of the business owner(s) to the sustainability of the business;
